Your wreath delivery

A Green Box Co. wreath is delivered to your door fresh, but it will dry beautifully and can be displayed in your home for months and years to come. Do NOT dispose of the Green Box in which the wreath is delivered. It is intended as a storage box to preserve the wreath once it is dry, so it can be used again as a dried wreath.

Depending on the time of year, your wreath can stay fresh for several days or up to a few weeks. The greenery will begin to naturally fade beautifully. It will slightly change colors as it dries out, but it will still remain green. Your dried wreath can be stored in the original Green Box and reused again.

Caring for your wreath

While the wreaths dry beautifully, there are ways to prolong the wreath’s freshness.

• To prolong the life of the wreath and to bring out the fragrance, use a small spritzing bottle filled with 16-24 oz. of water and spritz the back of the wreath (where the cut ends are) every two to three days.

• You may try an anti-transpirant plant spray to help lock in moisture. Composed of film-forming polymers that dry to a clear transparent coating, anti-transpirant sprays are designed to protect foliage from heat, sunlight, wind burn, and other elements that might cause it to dry out too quickly.

• Personally, we choose not to do anything to the wreath. We love the freshness of the wreath, and then enjoy the wreath as it dries out. (Note that direct sunlight will enhance the drying out process.)
